Appearance:

Sybill is a whip of a girl, she's very thin, and generally has yards of fabric surrounding her. Her hair is long, and generally bushy, because she doesn't take care of it as much as she should. She's usually far too busy with other more important things than to worry about her looks. She has a rather horrid pair of glasses that she detests, and whenever she can get away with it, she opts not to wear them. However, they tend to come out when she has to read something. The rest of the time she can usually get by.

History:

She is the great-great granddaughter of the famous seer Cassandra. And she will not let you forget it. Ever since Cassandra, her family has touted their ability, claiming to have the "inner eye." Sybill is no different, though with her, you often find that she gets a few things right from time to time. She's not a complete fake, but she doesn't exactly know what she's doing either.

She's had a very lonely childhood, growing up with just her parents. Her parents lived in a mostly muggle neighborhood, so she never really got on with the other kids. She was content, though, to stay inside and stare into her crystal ball. Or whatever else she might find. As a kid, she liked to practice being a great seer. It was what she aspired to. Now that she's at Hogwarts, and taking Divination, she knows it's not as easy as all that. But she tries. She really does. She wants to be good at it.


Personality:

Sybill is a very blunt girl. She sees things, and she'll come right out and say it, whether you wanted her to or not. She is friendly, though. She finds it important for everyone to know just when they're going to die. Who wouldn't want to know, after all? This tends to put boys off of her, though she's pretty enough, in her own way. She doesn't mind, though, because she knows what will happen to them. They will get trampled by a herd of hippogriffs. Obviously. If she had to make it happen herself. It would please her to find someone whose fate she couldn't easily tell just by looking at their tea leaves. Someone with mystery to them.

Being a Ravenclaw, she is naturally very studious. She can often be found in the library, though more often than not researching new forms of Divination than doing her homework. Oh, she gets it done, just never when anyone else can see. Usually she does it in the middle of the night when she can't sleep. Her sleep tends to be disturbed by horrid dreams. Hence her research. She has trouble remembering what it is she was dreaming of, and will spend hours trying to figure out how to let her remember her dreams. Sometimes she does. And at those times she stops the research, because the reality of her dreams is too hard to bear.
